We at Heart Leaf Publishing have a vision to publish creative material, such as books, articles, short stories or even daily devotionals. We are interested in writing that is fun, unique, educational and/or inspiring that would be of interest to anyone who enjoys reading! Our hope is that our books, articles or any written material we provide will bring joy, knowledge, understanding and adventure to our readers. Our main focus is that our authors feel their voices are being heard! We would love to hear from you!

The (Sometimes Confusing) Editing Process
Once you have completed your manuscript and we begin working together, we can provide you with a variety of editors to help your published book be professional and engaging to the reader.
There are different types of editors you may need to refine your manuscript:
Structural and Developmental Editors, Copy Editors, Proofreaders and Beta Readers all serve different purposes and will push your book to be the best version possible!
Finding the Perfect Title
Selecting a compelling title for your book or article is crucial. If you have already chosen a perfect title, well done! For those still contemplating, there are certain key elements we can offer to help ensure your manuscript has the most distinctive title possible, while capturing the essence of your story. The one crucial part of finding a title is that YOU are thrilled with it as well.
Book Cover Design
Don’t believe anyone that says not to judge a book by it’s cover. Everyone does! We will work with your vision to help create a unique and engaging book cover that will draw in future readers! What is vital to us is that your book cover truly gives a sense of the mood of your book. Is it Whimsical? Funny? Serious? Educational? Inspiring? We want your cover to give a glimpse of the mood the reader will feel while reading it.
Publishing Services
Once your book is complete and ready for the market, we will walk with you throughout the publishing process. There are many different options for publishing. You can share your vision with us and we will work to help you reach it.

"If I am interested in working with Heart Leaf, what is my first step?"
First reach out to us via our Contact page. Then we will discuss the submission of your formal query letter introducing your book. We will carefully consider if your book is a fit for our publishing company and if we can meet your needs as well.
"Do you accept first time authors at Heart Leaf?"
Yes! If we are taking submissions, we are open to considering unpublished authors who want to share their story, as well as authors who have published books in the past and are looking for a different path.
"Is this a service that anyone can sign up for, or is there a process to be accepted?"
Unfortunately, we are a small company and cannot offer services for each individual who is interested in just one part. We accept query letters to determine if a manuscript's storyline and writing style are a good fit for Heart Leaf Publishing. We intend to begin offering individualized services (editing, beta reading, etc) for authors in the future.
Please note that we do not accept work containing graphic violence or erotica.
